The interpretive nature center
The Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve (EFRR) Interpretive Center is located in the Escondido Creek watershed. The the off-grid, fire-, flood-, vandal-resistive building was designed by Hubbell & Hubbell Architects. The interpretive master plan includes both outdoor site opportunities and an interior 1,000 sq. ft. exhibit area. The purpose of the plan is to provide The Escondido Creek Conservancy (TECC) with an organizational guide for educational goals and community outreach desires.

Plan and Phase 1 completed in 2009 with ongoing project involvement.
